Mrs. Cowperson and I married in Northern Alberta, dead centre in the middle of her family and friends. Two years later, I moved to the Calgary area for a new career with the plan she would follow when her contract expired up north. It took 22 months and lots of 6.5 hour drives for both of us, but she eventually showed up and it's been 26 years later. Nowadays, she wouldn't live anywhere else.

Friends come and go and there are always new ones to be made. Time passes. You build a new life.
