what draft pick? we're trying to dump those using the waiver wire!

seriously though, i expect us to be drafting in that dead zone between 8 to 14 where we don't make the playoffs but don't get the sure thing either.

i hope that we take the best player available and don't try to specify a position. At that range (8 to 14), the player is likely to be a couple of years out and i don't think that we have the luxury of going after only a centre or a d, for example.
