TCW to me have really added to my enjoyment of the both the prequels and added to the interpretation of Vader in the ct. The whole he was the best pilot in the galaxy and a cunning warrior and a good friend are really explored.
In the last part of season 5 we see why even without the Sith influence that the Jedi were at the end of their time.
And we've seen several really good rage moments and other moments where he does things to get things done that explains why his fall was coming.
Seeing Tarkin explained and fleshed out were awesome as well.
You can also see the Palpatine genius throughout and the double dealing that he does.
To me what happened in last nights episode is key in seeing why Skywalker falls.
