Polls have shown though, that you have to fight dirty to get attention nowadays. One of prospective voters biggest problems with Kerry was that he wasn't fighting back. This probably goes to say more about the citizens then the parties or candidates. I'm sure that educated voters despise this kind of campaigning, but it obviously still makes a huge difference, as with the Swift Boat ads. So then the question you have to ask yourself is, if educated voters hate this campaigning, yet it makes a difference, how many voters are 'educated'?

Well, it's said they are fighting over less than 5% of the vote....so there's a number you can start with.
