We have it better than the Oilers whose owner has sold the fans on losing=winning and threatening to move the team of the city didn't pony up more tax $.
I am thankful for Edwards but wish he could see the writing on the wall that is obvious to even the most optimistic fan

I also appreciate that the Flames owners, including Murray Edwards, are willing to spend what it takes. If Ryan O'Reilly was a Flame today, the team would also be in a great spot to continue with the current rebuild. It's not impossible to get better without blowing things up. Everyone would feel much differently today if the Flames actually had have gotten O'Reilly. Hopefully, they continue looking for that type of player. I think that they have a plan and that it just might work. Too bad for the setback yesterday.
