Calling O'Reilly a franchise player is a stretch, and par for the course with Feaster...as is making sure everyone knew that he wanted to be a Flame when he signed the sheet, as if it was going to make the fanbase feel better about being oh-so-close.
With that now done, its time for him to start moving towards another plan.
But, last time he went on TV and got fired up and talked about making changes in 48 hrs in Feb of last, we heard crickets, so the chances of pulling the covers off an immediate, comparable-to-O'Reilly plan B, is slim.
At least this time he talked about the trade route being too steep; then he had this idea over the last 24h or so which abruptly has gotten shot down and now its back to that original drawing board that proved fruitless to this point...before then 20 seconds later talking about supposedly being a tiger on the prowl.
He's shown his hand that the first round pick can be had, so he may get some interested GM's now that that is on the table, but outside of that, he's back to trying to pry someone loose from some team...he'll have to wait as other teams start to sink or swim in the standings over the next 4-5ish weeks before the trade deadline, including his own, to see if the offers get any better IMO.

Good post. My worry is that i got a feeling that Feasters job might be on the line and he will do something drastic to try and save it.
I don't like ownerships mandate but Feaster accepted it and it looks like he will fail unless he can make a huge change. I dont think ownership mandate will change, but they might look to get someone else to give it a go. If so, look for the new guy to fail also.
