Now you are getting in the ballpark of what it might take to get him to sign a longterm deal, 6 million a year. If he is taking a 500K paycut for the first two years for guaranteed 18 million on the backend that would definitely make sense. In that scenario there is probably no benefit for him to holdout.
Like the name calling, always adds a bit of class to the debate.
