Let me put this in perspective as to why I think this is actually very good for us.

Avs don't match...

Suddenly in a couple weeks our top 9 center group looks like

O'Reilly
Backlund
Stajan

+ Kipper in between the pipes

We will NOT be looking at a 14th place finish,

More like 7th-10th

Avs get a 13-16th place pick. And most likely a player not panning out even close to the caliber of an O'Reilly.

This is why.

On a side note..
Dear lord we might actually have a half decent center group soon..
