Gillies posted a 3-0-3 record for February with a 1.76 GAA and a .947 save percentage, including a 1-0 shutout of fifth-ranked New Hampshire (Feb. 17). He allowed two goals or fewer in five of the six starts and posted 30+ on four occasions in the month. Gillies faced three nationally ranked teams in the month and went 1-0-2 against them.

He also shared the Rookie of the Month honours for October, so he is the first player to be named Rookie of the Month twice this season.
Right now, there is a four-way tie for first in Hockey East including both BC and Providence, who play a crucial home-and-home series on Friday and Saturday. Unlike the game they played in December (which Jankowski missed), all four of the Flames prospects should be playing.
