At this point, I picked up the remote and switched the TV over to CSI, which is in my opinion a vastly superior show

Isn't that a little rude?

Sex and the City won numerous Emmy's and is widely regarded by TV critics as a ground-breaking show. Old and haggard? Kristin Davis (Charlotte) is gorgeous.
Hey, I never said I liked CSI, I only remarked it was WAY better than Sex in the City. I'll take a rainbow coloured screen with a monotonous buzzing sound over Sarah Jessica Parker.

Wasn't the Sopranos supposed to be groundbreaking as well? Yet another show that has minimal story lines, but large amounts of T&A and 4 letter words to make it interesting. Take out those facets and you have the Godfather, TV edition. I just don't see the appeal.

My point being that without those defining features in either show, there is no substance whatsoever.

My opinion of course.
