They added allot of strength to area's of weakness. Jays needed more capable hitting plus they needed a power bat in the line-up. Jays also needed a Closer and another strong arm in the starting rotation.
Overbay at first
Glaus at 3rd
AJ as the second starter
BJ as the closer
Molina as the Catcher.
I really like the addition of Molina, to bring in a good catcher (Former gold glove winner) is a great move. He will help the pitchers.

Should have said with Glaus older and a history of injuries is what worried me about him.
Hey the moves could very well work out and I realise that these are the types of moves Riccardi has to make as he can't sign the Damons and Beltrans of the world.
I just think that Jays have a lot of questions going into the season this year and need a lot to go right and that most of the pick ups seem to have good to great potential but also have a higher level of risk than many other free agents.
