Brendl had a decent shot, he could certainly pick a corner. I'd say he scored pro calibre goals. But his skating was mediocre and he got a ton of goals by cherry picking which you cannot do at the NHL level unless you're Pavel Bure fast. I remember watching him play on the PK and he'd fly the zone if he thought the Hitmen might win the puck. Laziness, skating, work ethic, dedication, commitment, fitness, etc were all issues with him. Obviously a lot of those are words for the same thing.

Baertschi is a completely different prospect for sure. Hard working, dedicated, eager to learn, etc.
