If this team is actually going to tank and not care about winning then Ramo/Macdonald is a fine pairing, but if they have any desire to ice a respectable team then that is a disaster.

You are probably right but there needs to be a time to cut ties with Kipper and the team has stayed afloat with him gone for 11 games. If Ramo is supposed to be better then why not bring him over and let him know he has the keys? If the team gets a top pick that is a good thing long term, and it lets them get a good look at Ramo this season and decide if they go with him next year or if they need to try and bring in someone else.
Can Kipper bring back a center? Can he bring back a first? If so that first + could be used to bring in RoR? I guess it depends on what the market is for Kipper at this stage. A poor team looking to hit the cap floor could be interested like Florida. Kipper for Weiss + conditional 2nd (if he doesn't re-sign)?
