The average salary is apparently around $80,000 (for recent years) with younger guys making $40-60,000. He played in 8 seasons, the first was a partial season and it's likely he was on a low paying contract for the next 2-3 seasons. He may have made in the $150,000 range for a couple of years, but balanced out against those first few years he probably made close to the average overall. Not bad money, but not good money either.
