Nevermind the fact that long-distance running is basically the worst exercise in the world in terms of breaking down your body and turning you into a stick that can move.

I love to bike, especially on outdoor trails, and when I get my gym setup with go back to doing HIIT on the bike, but I simply don't understand the 'spinning' mentality of sitting on a spin bike for 45 min at a time doing low intensity cardio.

The benefit is minimal.
