I am still having a hard time convincing myself that density should be alone based on the type of street.
There is plenty of high density buildings in the Calgary beltline that dont have 4 or 6 lane roads attached to them.

In a lot of ways Cities XL is a much more complex game than Sc 4, but also very shallow. It's hard to describe.
Cities XL has complicated city transport. But building worth and condition aren't affected by where you put it. A high density house on a hill over looking a lake should have crazy high property value but it doesnt make a difference. Cities XL also has massive maps but the longer a game goes on the memory leaks makes it hard to deal with.
If SC 5 added little things like one way streets (I find it AMAZING they left this out) larger maps and proper zoning, I would be conviced we have a winner on our hands. As I see it now I think they`re banking on us forgiving a lot on these points based on glass box being so impressive.
Time will tell I guess.
