It looks like the same pattern as the last few years for the Flames. Get off to a slow start and have to go into playoff mode early. They gain some spots and reach playoff territory only to have their competition wake up and also go into playoff mode and we watch as the Flames fold. We just aren't big and tough enough to compete when it comes to hard nosed hockey. Still we're better than the Oilers and Jets.
