Not at all. It was clear that Feaster viewed Regehr as an expendable asset, and so far Regehr is proving him to be spot on in his assessment.
Now when you listen to Jay talk about Jarome and Kipper specifically, you know just how highly he regards these two players. That suggests to me that if they were to be traded, it would be for a great return.
I know most scrutinize him for the Brad Richards trade but he was essentially forced to trade one of the big three by ownership*, and did quite well based on the talent he acquired. Mike Smith, Jussi Jokinen, and Jeff Halpern were/all are good to great NHL players.
