Just wondering what are the rules of signing a KHL player once their season has ended. His team Avangard Omsk is the #2 seed in the East quarterfinals over in the KHL with series tied at 1-1. With our current goaltender platoon in shambles, I'd say its a pretty safe bet that most of us would like to see if his game can translate to the NHL as soon as possible. Considering Feaster drafted him, I'd say he would like to get him over here quick as well. So if his team were to be taken out in the 1st round, what are the rules on him signing with the Flames? If Kipper is going to be out for awhile still, I'd love to see this guy get a few starts, I mean he can't be much worse than McDonald, Taylor, Irving.
