Judging a player's performance from the World Juniors should not be overplayed, not to mention a player's +/-, but what have you seen to make this judgement? (I'm really more curious than being snarky here with my question; as I wrote above, I do believe it's in a player's best interest to not be rushed to play in the NHL.)

i just don't think a world juniour tournament can shift a players potential judgement all that much given it's just one batch of games.
i am also becoming very, very, reserved at looking at any player's juniour achievements (unless they are essentially topping the CHL/NCAA) as too much depends on factors like linemates and being on a top ranked team.
Dmen, just can't be rushed. my guess is wotherspoon gets 1, if not 2, full years in the AHL before he is looked at as a potential regular in the NHL. that's not a knock on him. But status quo for 95% of dmen draftees.
