Actually, I have absolutely no problem with what he said. For the most part I don't agree with what he has to say but at the same time he remains consistent in his views and in doing so creates discussion.
Akim Aliu has the ability to play a tough and gritty game, but those efforts come few and far between. He is incredibly inconsistent with his work ethic and tries far to hard to be a player that he is not ( a skill player ). Moon has every right to question a player that has 1 goal in 27 AHL games in addition to being a healthy scratch for half of the season. He is not a tough guy (as evidence by his two fights this season..by last count) but more of an agitator with discipline issues. He has the ability to hurt your team more than he can help it.
With that said I suppose there is still the possibility that he could carve out a career as a solid bottom six forward moving forward. I wouldn't count on it at this point, but hey I have been wrong before.
