I wonder how many people think the Cammalleri deal is such a great deal now. He makes $7M and is the highest paid player on the team... but sure doesn't look like it.

I think it should have been obvious to anyone the Flames were a sub-90 pts team.

This teams weakness at center is being completely exposed. It's hard to be a puck possession team when you start every shift trying to get the puck back, and frankly this team doesn't look interested in doing the little things to get the puck back. God forbid they do have the puck. I can not believe how many of this teams passes get intercepted, and it feels like the passes that don't the players just can't handle and cough the puck up anyway.
I wonder if some how we can blame this all on Brent Sutter. He was such an easy scapegoat.

Any chance the Flames are actually doing a Oilers "lose on purpose" ?
No center ice depth, Comeau on the 1st line, Blair Jones as your first player on shootout, having a butter soft team (Butler soft team?) .... maybe Feaster/Flames are really trying to suck on purpose but keep the tag line of "win now" just for the new building? (As long as you ignore trading the 2nd round picks anyways)

Calgary had zero succession planning, and we will have to deal with it as a franchise.

LA was the bigger, faster, tougher team and they imposed their will on us. Flames had no answer for the physicality and I made that comment in the first 5 minutes of the game.
Darryl Sutter came in here and embarrassed the Flames with a big tough team that is strong down the middle. Exactly what he preached would win hockey games when he was here.
