This thread has a "rabble rabble" feel to it.
We complain that we have no skill during Sutter's tenure and play too defensive of hockey.
We then complain that we aren't big or tough enough and that our defensive play isn't good enough.
Bottom line we're patching over rot in the walls. Getting bigger AND more skilled means getting highly valued players. We chose to go skilled so we got the cast offs, smaller one dimensional guys like Hudler, Tanguay, Cammalleri and Cervenka. You want big skill? You need to draft them.
You want commitment to defensive hockey while being exciting then you need a 3rd line with jam. We have none of that.
