Thanks for the write-up, good job as usual. Iginla played well, he was the best player on the ice by a long shot. I think T.J. Brodie is playing very well right now too.
There was a sequence in the latter half of the second period where I don't think the Flames made one tape to tape pass for about 4 straight minutes. The Kings made a breakout look so simple, effortlessly transferring the puck up the ice, while the Flames just could not do anything right for a long time.
I will repeat that Iginla deserved better this game and was doing all of the right things, still a lot of jam left in Iggy and I think he deserves some props because I do think he is playing hard, just not getting the results. I can't say the same thing for the rest of the team though.
Their confidence is very low right now, and they need a big game against a divisional opponent on Saturday. I think they will win a close one. But man on man three games in a row against stifling defensive teams, Coyotes, Kings, then Wild.
