So I have seen that many of you seem to be office workers in town so maybe I can get some advice?

Work gives me a decent amount of life insurance, but the wife is nagging me to add more now that we have decided she will stay home with our kids permanently...

I asked at work if I can buy more through our plan and was told we can't... So where does a non-smoking youngish family man go to top up their life insurance for both good rates and, more importantly, good coverage? I see no use in a $9.99 policy off the TV if my family can't collect in my absence...

I figure some (lots?) of you must be in the same boat and need a top up? What did you do?
