Lackluster starts, consistently no passion....everything else has changed...but... Iginla.
The Flames are a perennial slow starter because Jarome is a slow starter. In years past, he had enough strength, skill and jam to win fans back over because he could carry the load mid, and late season. For the past three seasons...we have seen this is not the case.
Bow has 3 more goals that Iggy, crap Backlund has two more goals...doesn't get the playing time that Iggy gets, and has been injured for two weeks. I am saying Backlund....not Getzlaf, or Toews.
The truth is Jarome is ALREADY GONE. Trading him now is a necessity. Dude is mailing everything but his cheque.
I wish management to know....that it's okay to let him go, the Flames will go on, and we will always love Jarome's service. However, those things that endeared us to him, are not really present anymore.
He seems like a great guy...but seems disinterested. Time to change things up for #12, and for the Flames.
