I think the problem is people tend to fall back into bad habits really easy when situations remain the same. This team still has it's main components (Iginla, Kiprusoff, Bouw) on contract and Iginla's mind is probably overwhelmed with the past few years.
He desperately needs a change of scenery in my opinion, he's not going to put his body on the line anymore because he's on a bottom feeder team so he's saving his future career by becoming a completely perimeter player. I bet the opposing coaches all tell their teams not to hit Iginla and to let him coast around on the outside because he's only good when he's mad. This ship is sinking fast, Iginla should go to Boston or Chicago if they will take him.
