agree, what Murray Edwards and Ken King are doing by having this stance to me is them really saying to each other i don't want to have any blood on my hands if the fan base rebel's after we make a trade.
Their way of thinking appears to be...If Iginla asks for a trade then we are not to blame if the deal goes down and the hockey world views the Flames organization as the loser in the trade. Or the Fan base is angered by the move.
Same as if nothing happens and Iginla goes UFA elsewhere or even resigns then the Flames organization will hide behind well Jarome said he wanted to stay.
They have to go to Iginla and push for this to happen and on the flip side they have to find out if Jarome wants to stay what is he willing to sign for because there will be an even larger fan base back lash if he continues to be a 7m cap hit for the Flames in 2014,15,16.
