Forget all of the good things Feaster and co. have done since he got here. Forget the fact that we may not have Sven or Gaudreau if it weren't for them. Forget the fact that we may not have Hudler, Wideman and Cervenka keeping us somewhat entertained during this miserable season. Forget the fact that he got that bum Bourque out of town for a heart and soul leader in Cammalleri (plus perhaps the best KHL goalie). I could go on about good things they've done.
But I guess people have a short memory.

While I don't disagree with you that this is one simple waiver wire move, as confusing and very strange as it, shouldn't be getting people all fired up. But all these "good things" you list (and I do like many of them as well) are very subjective to how good they are or that we wouldn't have them. We may or may not have Sven or Gaudreau, it's also still far from proven that these too wont become the next Ricco Fata and Daniel Tazchuck ( I can't spell) of this era, so touting those as good moves at this point is premature. Hudler, Wideman and Cervenka, I like all these moves, but they have yet to make anything better results wise around here.
And what about all the questionable moves? Signing Jackman a dime a dozen player months before it was needed to a multi year deal? What about re-signing Comeau for over 1M, then waiving a centre who has clearly been for effective than useless Comeau? What about how this team has now lost so much grit and size under this management it's actually hurting our results on the ice.
It's not that people have short memories, its that the results haven't improved with any of the changes this group has made, and to be honest the direction behind a lot of the moves made to date are actually quite confusing and people really aren't sure what this management team is trying to do or accomplish, or what direction they are taking.
