Bring Irving back. They want to see if MacDonald can carry the load, they want to see if Taylor can do something at the NHL level, and they want to see if Irving can regain some confidence in Abbotsford.
All of this makes sense. And it is what any team without a proven backup will go through. Sucks for us, but hopefully Kipper is only another week or so away.
