Two major differences though, Schnieder was developed and played in order to succeed Luongo, until he took on that mantle Vancouver had a succesion of older back ups that were reliable for 20 odd games, and on top of that Schnieders replacement is already in place.
I agree that with injuries any team can become unstuck in any position but the Flames rely on Kipper to play 70 odd games with no real other plan.
