I didn't hear what Warrener had to say about Bure first hand; I was just commenting based on an earlier post.
I don't think it's entirely contradictory though. Bure's offensive talents were on a plane that perhaps only a handful of NHLers in the history of the game have been able to match. Iginla, while great, cannot hold a candle to the kinds of things Bure was able to do on offense. Bure certainly was one dimensional, but when you are off-the-charts talented in one area, that can excuse weaknesses in others.
