I know this probably belongs in the unpopular opinions thread, but from my experience, women make terrible managers. They always seem to have favorites and will throw you to the wolves to save themselves.

My company has some amazing female managers but the vast majority are horrible. They hold personal grudges, act like tyrants, try to throw their weight around when it's not necessary, brown nose and are 10x more political than most of the male managers. With that said, many of the most reliable, hard working, organized and intelligent colleague's of mine are women. I think the khunty tyrant women get promoted into to management as they are seen by the higher ups to be 'go-getters' that can 'make the tough decisions'.
