I know this probably belongs in the unpopular opinions thread, but from my experience, women make terrible managers. They always seem to have favorites and will throw you to the wolves to save themselves.

I worked at a company where one small unit was entirely women, and managed by a woman as well. It was a powder keg, but so interesting to watch. The cattiness, and just petty hatred was really amazing. I wasn't really involved directly, but always figured if they just mixed in a guy or two the whole dynamic would've changed.
