Career is likely over, which is a damn shame. He was the center the Canucks had been desperate for and helped propel the the Sedins and Kesler. That said, he was worse than mediocre last season outside of face-offs and wasn't much better this season. That injury turned his career into a lit stick of dynamite and now it exploded =\.

It's pretty hard to look good when you're starting by far the most shifts of any player in the league in your own end.
Kesler coming back helps the Canucks a lot obviously, but he'll be called upon to take on even tougher assignments than he already does which will very likely limit his offensive production.
