This place is dead tonight. Couple questions as I had to work late and listened on the radio:

1) How was Bouwmeester, it sounded like he had a pretty good game on the radio;
He was mostly very good. He got the Benn assignment (Gio got Jagr and it was ugly) and was unusually physical against him. He jumped up in the play and scored the opening goal, while skating very well in transition on D and offence. Unfortunately, he had some weaker plays in the zone including on the first Dallas PP goal where he lost position on Morrow leaving him wide open for a tap in.
2) Was the 2008 Cammy back tonight?
He was great tonight. From the opening whistle he was pursuing the puck and looked fast out there. He had great anticipation on his second goal of the night on the forecheck where he kept the puck in on a rim and eventually it made its way back to him. He was making good passes all game too.
3) How was Cervanka, specifically how was his foot speed? Does he look like he might have another gear or is he just a smart slow offensively gifted player like a Jason Allison?
Somewhere in between. I've been worrying about his speed but I thought he looked pretty quick tonight. Sort of like Hudler, he is pretty good in short bursts but he isn't going to blow past anyone. He definitely knows how to find space though. He should have had at least 3 tonight.
