The private sector doesn't have daycare programs? Since when.
Daycare has been around forever. The ability for low income families to afford it hasn't. If the point is to help low income families get their kids into daycare, fine.....might be a good idea. But to start a federally run daycare program? The US simply doesn't have the billions required.
Maybe it would be a good idea to fix the social programs they have, instead of coming up with new ones that will have the same result as the old ones.
Why people think the government should provide everything is beyond me.
