I'm curious as to which games you saw, because in October they televised a Heat/Wolves and Heat/Barons game and both of those were exciting games (I believe they went to a shootout and OT, respectfully).

I remember one televised game that was in Chicago and it was downright boring, snail hockey. I think it ended 1-0 or 1-1 in a shootout. Just awful hockey.

I'm not singling you out, but there are so many people that criticize trap defense, but if it's executed correctly, there are very few teams that can beat it. To me, the Heat are fairly decent at executing the trap and it often gets them wins. I'm okay with that. They still free wheel on offense, but don't have the most skilled players, thus low scoring games.
