He wasn't good enough to make the Rangers, whether that is because of an injury or not, he's not good enough.

It's really weird that you don't seem to understand.
It had nothing to do with not making the team because they were willing to hand him a contract and a roster spot. But he failed the physical before he could step on the ice and he failed it because his injured knee wasn't 100% yet.
It had nothing to do with him not being good enough.
