Rest a couple games into the schedule clearly did the Flames no favors. They needed to get into a groove and they didn't need that rest. Since that layoff, Flames are 3-2-2.
Looking at the opponents, I'm just not buying the softest schedule in the league bit.
VAN x 2, ANA, Chi, SJ and Detroit. 60% of the games against Top 5 teams in the conference is not the softest sked in the league. That's not opinion.
