Except and I don't know medical costs in the States that the injuries aren't consistent with a dog that bites to create space or scare off the woman, its more along the lines of a dog going to town and that's the concern now that both sides stories are coming out with the dog in the middle.
I'm not advocating putting the dog down, but I do think that we need to know more about what the judge heard because its pretty clear that the owners original story to the press to tug on the heart strings which put the judge in an incredibly unsympathetic light might have been dishonest and a slick public relations campaign. The same could be said on the other side but we don't know.
