There was little interest in Regehr which is why the Flames didn't get much of a return. I am still stunned by how many Flames fans thought he was some major asset that could bring a great return. The league knew well he lost a couple of steps and is simply a depth guy that's in the range of Sarich. Do fans really think the Sabres think they made a great deal? Chris Butler is more of an asset than Regehr is today which means the Flames likely win the deal.
