- Waived Comeau after Game 1. He has no place on an NHL roster, unless you're intention is to tank the season. The Islanders waived him. Enough said. Jay, please, discard. And ban the use of #17 for at least ten years.
- Coach Hartley: please use your timeout. Immediately after the penalty, that was called after Vancouver's first goal, would have been my choice. Standing there with your mouth agape and wondering what just happened was seen by a national audience.
- Taylor in after the 2nd intermission. Game was over after Van's second goal. Everybody knew that.
- Flames, high dollar, players won't or can't compete with the elite teams in the NHL.
- Positives when it comes to the Vancouver games...None. It was a divisional game. Unacceptable compete level. No fight, no points. Deserved the loss.
Before tomorrow: Comeau, you're FIRED! Street back to the Heat. Horak or Byron up.(The finer points of one and two-way contracts and the waiver wire, do not need to be explained to me). Taylor in. Stajan remains between the Czech's.

Nice overreaction.
- I'm not fond of Comeau but he helped create the only goal of the night and had another huge chance to put us up 2-0.
- Irving made some great stops and the game is only down 3-1
- Timeout after it was 1-1? Why waste it when there could be potentially game changing situations yet to occur. Critical PPs, PKs, Icings, Last minute situations.
- Only valid point is Stajan with the Czechs. Never fond of breaking up lines that are clicking, but its not like it didn't make some sense.
