The first period was half decent, I thought if they kept that effort up they may give themselves a solid chance to win. They didn't, a few penalty calls later (some of which were questionable looking live) and it was curtains. I wish they had a physical push back in the third, but aside from one big Iginla hit there wasn't much of one. Irving made some big saves early, but he also looked a little bit shaky. Having said that, with all of the turnovers and the way the Sedins were owning the puck in the Flames zone I can see why he was on edge. They were just outclassed and out worked from the second period onward.
Is it just me or is the atmosphere significantly more quiet than it used to be at Rogers Arena? There were a decent amount of Flames fans this time as well, I was quite surprised.
How opposing coaches and players don't understand that the twins are crap when you pound them in beyond belief, let them play river hockey.. they are awesome but the last few playoffs has shown, nail them at every chance and they crumble like creampuffs. Very irritating to watch.
