Signing a guy for 525,000 to open a gate is a tad bit of a waste.

Wth do you have to lose? This guy intrigues me.

You know Irvings likely going to be average again, and cough up a few goals even if the team plays well. Taylor outclassed Irving in Abby, maybe he does the same here? I don't know, no one does for sure. But windows of opportunity for goaltenders open up just about once in a millennium here in Calgary, so you give the kid a shot.
