I had a buddy who thought games were pre-determined, like WWF.

As for myself, its gotta be because of Blades of Steel, but I thought you only got a penalty if you lost a fight. That was back in the days of all-time heavyweights like Probert & Twist where they'd just go off on each other. So I figured the reason they went so hard is because they really didn't wanna get a penalty.
