Fanboys of anything are annoying, totally agree.. but if we're saying "there is no right answer" that's boring and wrong.
I love talking about mobile technology, as much as I do discussing the Flames really. When a new piece of tech comes along I'm all over it and love going back-and-forth with someone talking about it. That isn't limited to Android or Apple phones either. Like pylon mentioned the Windows phones interest me greatly. My father is finally looking to upgrade from
this. My dad is the type of guy who isn't into cell phones at all and flat out refused two Blackberrys from work because he "was retiring in 11 months!". I dunno if he wants to delve into smart phones (he got my mom an iPhone, she loves it) but he's been steering towards the one pylon mentioned.
They really enjoy the new UI with their windows 9 laptop so it might be a smoother transition for them.
I ranted, I'll get back. I love talking about this stuff and staying informed, it's not just about which suits someone best.. cause that's boring and kills discussion. I picked up another Google Nexus device because I love those products right now but I looked at the Windows stuff.. and even held out to see what the new Blackberrys were like before going this route again.

I'll agree with that yup, pretty much what I was getting at. I even -- a guy who can't stand Apple -- always watched his "Apple Events" because of how charismatic he was. Fabulous speaker.
