Varies by visit I suppose. Unless service is beyond-the-pale atrocious or spectacularly awesome I usually don't even notice it and as a result my opinions of different restaurants are shaped almost entirely by the food itself. IMO, beef is what Calgary does best, and the cowboy chop at Vintage is the best cut of beef in this city.
But you could just as well spend your money at Sugo or Notable or Muse, I just threw in Vintage as one example.
