I don't have a great deal of faith when it comes to combining viewpoints with where people are born.
I grew up in the SE. Went to school in Dover and Forest Lawn. I grew up with almost as many kids that were Asian/Indian as were white. Almost all these kids, even those only separated from SE Asia by a couple years were extremely westernised.

I worked in a Meat packing plant for 12 years, mostly with people who were recent immigrants (SE Asia and Middle East) to Canada. The majority of these people were dedicated to working in the crap hole to make sure their kids got the education they needed so they could be a full part of Canadian society, like they couldn't (due to education or language barriers).

I realize that this doesn't mean anything in the big scheme of things, and is just a couple examples from my life, but you would be hard pressed to convince me that by the time these kids grow up and have kids of their own, enough of them will be firmly entrenched in their parents culture and religion that they will be able to change the laws of our country to include things like Islamic (or any religiously) based laws.
