Beliefs and cultures do. This is obviously an extreme example but imagine if these events started to happen in Canada... I'm not saying they will but who knows? If there's ever a predominantly muslim population here then you never know. It doesn't have to be muslim. It could be Jewish or Fundamentilist Christian too.
How angry would you be if you were walking down the street with your gf/wife and some group of guys started insulting her for wearing a skirt? I know if that happened to me, I'd lose it.
Again, I don't care if you're Black, Brown, White or Blue. As long as your willing to adapt to Canadian customs and culture (you don't have to assimilate, but you do have to realize that somethings do not fly here) then you're good. The moment you start screwing with that, expect sh** to hit the fan.
